1. What this site is

PoemGenius is a writing aid. The generators assemble poems from templates and built-in English word lists to help you get started, beat a blank page, or explore a poetry form. They are not a substitute for your own writing, and they are not a published, curated anthology.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind. Poems, guides and examples are provided for creative and educational use only. If you need legal, medical, financial or academic advice, consult a qualified professional.

3. Accuracy and quality of generated poems

• Word selection is randomised: the same input can produce a different poem, and output quality varies;
• Syllable counts and rhyme suggestions follow our own word lists and may not match every dictionary or every regional pronunciation;
• Spanish, French or other non-English forms are outside the scope of this tool;
• Poems are not checked for factual accuracy, taste or suitability for a particular audience — please review and edit before publishing or sharing.

4. External links and third-party services

The site links to third-party pages and uses third-party analytics and advertising services. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; see our Privacy Policy and Advertising page.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from use of this site or from any poem generated with it.
